Drone video gives a unique perspective of your property
Your customer always sees your business from the ground level. Adding a drone shot immediately grabs your audience's attention because it is different from what they are used to seeing.
Create beautiful cinematic clips to open your next video
The first few seconds of a promo video are the most important. This is when your audience decides to stop and watch your content or keep scrolling. Using cinematic drone footage as the establishing shot of your video is a great way to capture attention and keep your audience watching.
Drone videos can also show the surrounding businesses or area to give a more complete picture.
Drone cameras have the ability to capture wide sweeping shots that can showcase not only your business but the surrounding area as well. This gives your audience context and builds familiarity with your location. It can also be a valuable tool for real estate and property management groups to help their audience envision the area.
Drones are a great tool for taking progression shots
Many commercial drones can be set up with waypoints which use GPS to take the exact same shot at multiple points in time. This allows us to create smooth, consistent progression videos, perfect for construction and other project needs.
Drone imagery can be inspirational and will help spice up any video! The steady movement of a camera at 100ft or more can help tell a more compelling storyline. This is a sizzle reel for Design the sky which is our parent company!
Like any video technique, drone footage is just another tool in video marketing and promotions. A compelling story is shot with a variety of tools, and we have the equipment and expertise to get the job done right!

Professional aerial videography and photography
Our drone pilots are FAA licensed and knowledgeable on the latest regulations that ensure the safety of all personnel and property. We are also highly experienced in videography, photography and motion graphics which add a polished touch to your projects.
Consistent progress shots
Our drone comes with waypoint technology which uses GPS coordinates to get the same exact shot at different points in time. This is particularly useful for construction progress or “before & after” videos, so that you can be assured that your progress will be documented from precise, consistent angles.
Unique drone video options
We offer some unique services that most drone video companies in the midwest do not offer. This includes our interior drone flythroughs, which uses a specialized drone that can maneuver in tight spaces, creating an immersive feel to your videos. We also offer drone hyperlapse videography. This is a fast motion time lapse video that can be shot in daylight or even night time which can really set your video apart from your competitors.
Technically no - if they are flying recreationally. However, any drone pilot that is flying for profit is required to have a valid drone operator license, issued by the FAA. Licensed drone operators will be knowledgeable on FAA regulations surrounding drones to ensure safe operation around people and property. At RadBot Video production we are licensed and insured.
For most drone videography and photography the maximum altitude is 400ft. There are exceptions if the drone is directly above a tall structure, and in special circumstances, a drone pilot can request prior authorization from the FAA to fly higher. Be sure to ask your drone video company if you think you may need to make a special request for higher altitude.
In most cases, no - unless your property is located near an airport. If your property is located in an airport zone, the drone operator can request FAA authorization to take the video and pictures in your area.
The FAA suggests that you request authorization approximately 90 days before the date of the drone flight. In our experience the process is usually quicker, but that is the official FAA recommendation.
Turnaround time may vary depending on the project and special editing requests, but generally drone photography can be delivered within 72 hours after the photos are taken. For other projects, your drone video company should discuss your deadlines with you and provide you with an accurate timeline.
